Description

HALOGENE T-30 is a broad spectrum biocide for control of algal, bacterial and fungal slimes in industrial water systems. It is effective over a wide pH range (6-10).

Appearance

Tablets weigh approx. 24g each and with a diameter of about 2.5 cm.

Solubility

HALOGENE T-30 is soluble in many organic solvents. Its dissolution rate is dependent on temperature.

Incompatibility

Paints, petroleum and other combustible organic materials, organic and inorganic oxidizers.

Flammability

HALOGENE T-30 is non-flammable and chemically stable at up to 160ºC. At this temperature it will start to decompose, releasing toxic fumes.

Corrosivity

In normal use concentrations, Halogene T-30 solutions are not corrosive. At high concentrations, however, Halogene T-30 is corrosive to most metals.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated area away from fire and oxidizable material.

Handling

Use dry, clean clothing and equipment when handling. Avoid breathing dust and contact with the eyes and skin. Wear rubber or plastic gloves and safety glasses with side shields.
